If the world is reporting atrocities, it's because it's seeing them. Proclaiming innocence is hard when you're standing atop a pile of dead.

The world is calling all Palestinian dead innocent, including those with Kalishnikovs and bomb belts. The fighters in the other camps surrendered; in this one they chose to fight. If the Israelis had gone in on foot, they would have been all killed inside two blocks. To leave the camp alone would be to admit that it is an untouchable refuge for Islamic Jihad. So they went in, even though it was booby-trapped. What the world is seeing so far is mostly destroyed buildings. I agree that the Israelis should have let the rescue teams in quicker. They could have saved lives. I am sure they are too selfless to have complained if some of them had gotten blown up by the booby traps.
