Pravin- I shorted because I knew the stock was going down No comment on that one! didn't want to pay the option premium You're right about that. Also, many of these options are thinly traded, so you can have trouble jumping in and out. But the downside risk is limited and if you can't make money selling the put today, it's a volatile stock so there will be other opportunities. But we're all adults here (most anyway) and each can choose his course. Concerning AMD's prospects for 02, think FLASH, FLASH, FLASH.
