Mr. Burk, Qcom is not a manufacturer. Nokia's problems will arise from Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and even US manufacturers offering better and cheaper products.

Nokia can go to zero and it will not affect the Q in any fashion.

regards,

bt

"w"hat's bad news for NOK is equally bad news for QCOM."

That is absolutly untrue, NOK share of CDMA market is weakest element of their biz, it is also a weak product line. Nok weakness is actually somewhat positive because it shows subscribers migrating to CDMA networks. If you havnt noticed PCS/KDDI/KOREA are all showing good sub growth whille Cingular and ATT are not. Also any gains in CHINA are net subs GSM doesnt get. Also NOK. The fact is NOK is loosing MKT share to samsung, and other asian maklers who have much better CDMA networks. also Europe weak sales have 100% no impact on Qcom, since they do no biz there.,
