rob: ...no/low profits for carriers is not good for gearmakers.. And which carriers do you think are more likely to be the ones with decreasing profits? Let me guess: Those with higher upgrade capex, less efficient (spectrum use wise) networks, disappointingly slower data capacities dependent on voice traffic, already overburdened networks, declining sub adds, delayed roll out of next gen handsets, services and applications, etc. etc.? And which carriers are clearly in that bucket of woe? And don't tell me you are impressed with Cingular's singularly poor report compared with PCS's. David T.
