Have you read the comments from the shorts? They were very negative on AMD in the short-term. And it was precisely because the company's execution has been poor as of late. The only reason why they were able to make money was because they saw it a day before the rest of the market did.

Meanwhile, the INTC thread is often visited by AMDroids who talk all sorts of trash about Intel and dream all sorts of fantasies over AMD. But it's clear to me that many of these 'Droids don't even hold one share of AMD, and if they do, they are unlikely to hold for longer than a year. That tells me they hate Intel more than they believe in AMD. What does that tell you about AMD as a company?
