Italian gov't officials are downplaying a terrorist attack....saying the SOS from the pilot was convincing..... indicating it might be an accident.....

However, live shots seem to indicate the plane did considerable damage & it clearly appears that the plane hit the building dead center & flying level. There was plenty of clear air space to either side of the building.If the pilot had engine trouble as reported, why did he hit the building dead on & flying level?
