That was an entertaining exchange. However, if AMD gets $x for a processor that costs $y to make, and Intel gets $1.7x for a processor that costs $z to make, isn't it quite possible that AMD's y is less than Intel's z? How is the fact that AMD needs to get $1.1x per processor to actually make money relevant to the original statement about AMD as low-cost producer? Or, are you just in a flippant mood and don't care?
