Talk to Schwab again. If they won't let you buy some protective puts on your holdings, a VERY conservative move, then find another broker.

I own Intel, but I don't like to recommend stocks. If you think Intel is going to pick up share and go to the mid to high 30's, I would sell your AMD and use the proceeds to buy Intel. Why hold AMD if you think it will go down?

How's your golf game? I shot a 78 the other day, a combination of a very easy course and the complete fluke of me striking the ball correctly a whole bunch of consecutive times. Those conditions probably won't repeat for years.
