The bombings preceeded any such demolition. The escalation came from the Palestinian side. No, I do not AUTOMATICALLY approve of alleged freedom fighters, especially if they engage in terrorism. Nor do I automatically credit their claims of foreign oppression. And no, I do not believe in the absolute right of self- determination, without regard to other issues, like territorial integrity. Hitler made "self- determination" the issue in the Sudetenland, after all, thus robbing Czechoslovakia of its main industrial region, and setting it up for annexation. I do not approve of Basque terrorists. I do not approve of Puerto Rican terrorists. I do not approve of the IRA. By the way, Northern Ireland is a good example of self- determination up against territorial integrity: those counties voted for Union with Britain. The IRA is actually against self- determination, and for territorial integrity......
