Yep, my father was included in that group. I remember going round and round with him about why daytrading had nothing to do with intelligence and how in the long term, even if he was successful, he'd trail my returns. Well, he lost a heck of a lot of money and he doesn't daytrade anymore. I wish he'd listened to me. I have a few more stories just like that from a some friends of mine. It's tough to learn that lesson until the market proves you wrong. I've traded before, but with such a minor portion of my networth, that I could lose everything in that account and not lose money. Oh and btw, that account is now closed. LOL. If you're going to gamble, at least do it with pennies first to teach yourself the lesson. :)
