Runes,
Now that israel has "won" the war against their terrorists, how few suicide bombings will there be? It may be wise for Arafat to speak loudly against suicides now as opportunities for their success have been lessened greatly. And then Arafat can take credit to boot and make him more acceptable as a peace partner at least here in the US. Then a US peace conference for the region. Thoughts! mike
PS By the way the israelis may have also helped arafat by dismantling the competition Hamas. Arafat is a nationalist terrorist while Hamas is more akin to bin laden and the clerics in iran. PA can make a comeback and keep Hamas under control????
