Dorine, I was also surprised how people reacted to the Shapiro family. I had not heard their story
b4. Every once in awhile I check for Cindy Tucker's byline and that is how I found the story.

After 9/11 there were attacks on Muslims and other religious groups in the States but this is the first story I've
heard about an attack because of the Israel-Palestine conflict.
