Hi Marc, Fisher's work is excellent. I didn't know that there was a company involved. The news wrote an article on his work...It is good to hear that children are still well...as when I 1st heard Fisher's work, it was a while ago. Message 17354154 My main concerns would be, how big is the market for SCID (I don't think it is that big)? Also the procedure that they used to extract the cells from the patient/infecting the cells using a retroviral vector/injecting the cells back into the patient, is ex vivo gene therapy. (I think GTI (Novartis) might be a potential holder of an ex vivo patent). I'm not positive about my answers, so do your own dd...BWDIK? Best of Luck, SS
