So that would be a close of $35.20 on the QQQs I guess.

If they can pump this thing up to 35.20 tomorrow, it would make me happy. Much of it is going to depend upon what analysts say about MSFT. I doubt there will be any big downgrade. As long as Rick Sherlund of Goldman says that guidance is where he expected, a move close to 35 would be possible. MSFT is going to lead this market in whatever direction it takes.

What do you think the chances of hitting over 35 tomorrow?
All I can say is that big inflows numbers scared shorts into covering a few weeks ago on a Friday even after very bad news in the markets on a Wednesday/Thursday of the same week. I think market gave most of it back pretty quick...believe it was the next couple of trading days.

What do you make of MSFT sitting at max pain afterhours...55?
I don't see how the QQQs can maintain the 35 level unless there is some serious move in the semis or networkers like Cisco.

edit: just noticed max pain on MSFT is 60.
