Banc of America Securities sticks with "buy" on Siebel in report 4/18/02 Analyst Bob Austrian says the customer relationship management software firm delivered a "solid" first quarter with results in- line with estimates. Although its license revenues were about flat compared with the fourth quarter, Austrian said Siebel did better than most software firms, many of which saw business dip 20 percent or more quarter-over-quarter. Siebel's outlook was for a flat second quarter, and Austrian lowers both his price target and his earnings estimates for fiscal years 2002 and 2003.
