The SOXX seems to be holding down the Nasdaq. Down 1.39% now. If it starts moving higher we got a rally. Anyone have ideas on the technical opinion on the Soxx.

I hope you are right as I am also looking to reduce positions a little bit.

There was lots of positive commentary out of Microsoft about the PC industry (and these guys are usually the most negative in their forecasts).
The street may take that as a sign to put cash into tech stocks; so many of the big funds are very light on tech with the possible exception of the semiconductors stocks.

FOX news reporting there are credible threats against banks in the north east. Not seeing it reported anywhere else though. Not sure how serious the threat, but FOW spent a couple minutes on it FWIW.
