That's a misread, John. He gave space to this highly disturbing piece about Andrea Koppel as part of his campaign against appeasing Islamic terrorists. There is a time I would have believed that about Sullivan. No longer. I think two things are at stake in this item. First, Sullivan has been, for some time now, clearly on a campaign to dig up and post any rumour about any journalist left of himself, no matter how little credibility it has. And this one is worse than I've seen before. Second, I've watched him a couple of times on the old Jeff Greenfield show on CNN. If one's TV persona even remotely resembles one's real life persona, then Sullivan is far too enamored of himself to ever do something so considerate as you argue. Sullivan's no longer believable, nor credible.
