Where do you get off calling me a Marxist. When you learn how to post without calling someone names, let me know.

Some people are proud to be called Marxist or Democrats. I am surprised you find these offensive, since your opinions on so many subjects seem to align with them so much.

Excuse me, don't play dumb.........peoples' careers have been ruined in this country because they were thought to be Marxist. Calling me a Dem is one thing, calling me a Marxist is quite another.

Would you prefer that I call you a fascista? In terms of reaction, its nearly the equivalent of Marxist in this country.

These labels are just a convenient shortcut. Most people understand what they mean, and more or less fall under one or more categories.

No they don't........most people equate communism with the ilks of Stalin or Krushchev.

But I understand that you are truly confused about these labels, since you are calling Stalin and Khrushchev conservatives and right wingers, and yourself an independent.

Its not I that's confused......you still believe that the communism practiced by the Russians is what Marx intended.

I recall Scumbria, who sounded like a press release for the Democratic National Committee, also called himself and independent. What's wrong with you guys?

Why I don't want to be identified by either party is because neither party represents my beliefs en toto. Granted the Dem party fits more the bill than the Reps. but they are both off. Plus, just like religion, the participation of so many people ends up corrupting the political views and intent of the party.......I find that offensive. I endure the label of liberal and dem because that is the theme of this thread. However, I won't put up with Marxist. If you can't restrain yourself, then don't post to me.

TIA.
