But, in the Muskoka and Penetanguishene areas of Ontario, there are lots of black flies, right? Of course, the insects are not around when you are in open water or when a breeze is blowing. But they often come to feed on you when both the air and you are relatively still. I recall that two prisoners once escaped from the Penetang area one summer night and made for freedom through the forest. They came back to the relative comfort of prison the next day because of the damned black flies and other crawlies! I agree that folks must do away with the socialist governments. Because of socialist programs, the government and the provinces collect horrendous taxes. Imagine someone in BC was able once to brag in a bar that he had been living off the government by simply collecting UIC and that he was going for his honeymoon in Hawaii. Imagine he was going to get married on taxpayers' expense! He was overheard and reported to the UIC folks. When his plane touched down on his return trip he was promptly arrested. Unfortunately so many UIC cheats get off scot-free that it's not funny. Lots of people work hard for their money and it goes to waste on the good-for-nothing types that simply reproduce more of themselves to help themselves on the government largesse. According to the American Don Stott's on-line book, "Consequences", the same goddamned thing happens south of the border.
