Bill Clinton and Janet Reno didn't destroy the Republic, I doubt Ashcroft will make much of a dent. Clinton supported warrantless searches of public housing residences, drug testing of high school athletes without any suspicion of their drug use, and the use of roving FBI wiretaps without a court order. Ashcroft was raked over the coals by the anti-2nd amendment crowd for refusing to keep lists of gun purchases. He is a definite improvement. Oracle is a one trick pony. All their attempts at diversification have failed. When a product comes along to challenge them they'll be in trouble.
