Len,

Actually, we know God in the Holy Bible gave the land to the Israelites. So, if one has faith in the Bible, there is not question whose land it is.

But if one chooses not to believe in the Bible as Gods inerrant word, because the Canaanites cease to exist as a people, the Jews would be the oldest existing group in modern day times to lay claim to the land. So your point about picking a timeline is moot. The Jews would own it either way!

The only reason why I picked the Romans to start with, was due to they were the first to lay groundwork for the name Palestine. That's all!

And to your point, "Perhaps you want to rebuild the Temple and usher in the Messiah?" Well, no, God has his timetable, and his plan will be completed on his watch, not anyone elses. But I can't wait until the time where God orchestrates the rebuilding of the Temple and Messiah coming back! Its going to be wonderful when he returns!

God Bless,
IGIT
