You're wrong. It is ALL about rhetoric. You get idiots like Kerry and Gore who are running for office and will say anything and take ANY position so long as it is different from that of the current administration. It has nothing to do with what's best for the country, but everything to do with what they think will get them elected. Sickening, but Democrat behavior to the core. The reason Gore and Kerry can run around complaining about the environmental impact is because every three- five years, idiots on your side are so eager to make their $$$, that they spill the sht, creating environmental messes that take years to clean up. While I know that its not a big deal to you, living in a land locked state with little drilling, for those of us near drilling on the coast its a major issue. Besides, someone has to watch that we don't turn this planet into a shthole that no one can live on. God knows, it won't be the oil barons.
