Hussman is the chairman, president and controlling shareholder of Hussman Econometrics Advisors, Inc. Additionally, he is president of Hussman Investment Trust. From 1992 through 1999, he was an adjunct assistant professor of Economics and International Finance at the University of Michigan. His academic research has focused on financial market efficiency and information economics. Hussman recieved his Ph.D in Economics from Stanford University in 1992.
