Dear Charles: Good heavens, you are right. I hadn't even looked at the volume. Taking a look at the maximum chart for SUNW, I noticed there was one volume surge in the past that might have competed with today's. Nope. Today's was higher.

BTW, the previous high volume was 152,966,400 on 11-Dec-00. SUNW closed at 34. The prior day, volume was 103,871,400. SUNW had a 2:1 split before the market opened 6 Dec. '00.
