My take on the suit: I can imagine Jerry reacting like that(we all know how emotional and irrational he can be) but it's probably also somewhat exaggerated. His decision to fire Maghribi could also have to do with the poor flash development and Hector's desire to get another one of his Motorola buddies in a top position at AMD. But still it's both a personal loss for AMD (I had a high opinion on Maghribi and his performance) and a public relations disaster. First the Microsoft testimony and now a discrimination suit -- that's certainly not how Jerry desired to step down...
