So you think it's true when he says quite clearly that I'm a "paid whore"? I'll stoop to his level for a moment and opine that he's farting an opinion and calling it preaching the gospel. I get paid by folks who like the interface and the way the site's run. None or few of these folks would be caught dead with an OTCBB issue in their portfolio, let alone a scummy one. And most of my ads are for market-unrelated things like Sprint PCS. He's (and you've?) got this fantasy image painted where iHub is taking money and stock under the table and telling people "Go ahead and tout your company and we'll take care of anyone who doesn't like it". In the past, the Chairman of the Board concept was being used that way. No argument there. It's not now, though, and hasn't been for some time. Not since Matt started severely clamping down on what reasons are and aren't allowed for deletions, and bringing the smack down on people who abuse the ability to delete posts. For the past month, I'm seeing 5-6 posts per day being deleted on average. And 90% of them are because they were dupes, or posted by a spammer. As for Matt not honoring the entire deal, that agreement was broken long ago by the other party in numerous ways, one of which was non-payment. And I'm glad for that. When I became aware of the deal, even though I knew the other party had breached it, I would've terminated it anyway. No deals with those kinds of people. I would've gladly risked a lawsuit on that one. Just glad he broke the agreement first, so I didn't have to. You should give Matt some credit for having grown up a bit and learned a lot. I sure do give him credit for that. Heck, there are things I've done in the past 20 years I'm not particular proud of now and know they were stupid. In Matt's case, he need only look back a year. <g> But he did learn. My main issue with your statements is taking past events, distorting them, and presenting them as the current situation, when that's not the case. And worse when you take those past events, which preceded my re-arrival at the site, and lay them in my lap. As for being off-topic here, I'm not too worried about that. If the esteemed Anthony can get away with posting "The Eff Woid" here in a personal attack, I don't think anyone's going to object to our relatively polite argument. Besides, I just got done with a monstrous programming project that I was on for about a month, and am finally taking a break from it. So I feel like posting. I know... Perhaps I should go to my own site and tweak a few noses and see if I can get some discussions happening. It's just that even though I don't work here, and now run a "competing" site, I was an SI'er long before I started working here, and will always be one until Naveen yanks the plug.
