Dear Charles: But that date only had 12,081,900 shares traded. To the best of my knowledge, Yahoo! doesn't adjust the volume..

Charles,

I don't believe that Yahoo! adjusts daily trading volume to account for splits.

The reason I say that is I distinctly recall Iomega (IOM) trading 47 million + shares back in January 1998.......for Iomega,a BIG number! I just went back to look and, sure enough, Yahoo! still shows 47 million + Iomega shares traded on 23-Jan-1998.
