Drilling in ANWAR is a true crime against nature.
You have a nerve to call defenders of the wild-lands names.

The oil business has been lying about ANWAR for a long time. The recent government study which took 12 long years to compile stated decisively that driling in ANWAR would cause irreparable damage to the wild-life and eco-systems.

You may not care about such things, but most people do.
"People care", and I'm not talking about Chevron's BS PR ads. The main thing we need to do now is gradually wean ourselves off oil altogether. But first we need a new president who hasn't spent his whole career in bed with big oil. The man who can call Enron his siamese twin.

Despite intense Teamsters pressure ANWAR is saved.
Every single sponsor of drilling in ANWAR is a anti-environmental oil soft money recipient of the largest degree. Big oil and Enron types have tried and failed to buy our government. But we have to keep fighting them.

McCain is the avatar of pinhead Republicans, and their analogue, the oxymoronic "Dem scholars".
