Thanks for the selections. I do plan to read it sometime.

However, I think the reference to "dropping AMD support" in exchange for the "Java" bit was more in reference to 3DNow than x86-64? It wasn't clear to me from the transcript portions and I am not familiar with the history on this.

Yes indeed, a masterful performance by JS. With this testimony he helped the x86-64 and showed what a scum MS and Intel are. Just one note -- the quid pro quo talk between Bill and Craig was about 3DNOW, not x86-64

The bad news is that Yamhill extensions are not x86-64 compatible and that they will be supported by MS.
