What I find interesting from such commentators however are these remarks: <should we get a resources bull market> To which I say, what have we been in, chopped liver? The stocks will always lead commodity prices? The bell for this bull market was quietly rung months ago, and in an atmosphere of watching paint dry. It's like everybody thought there would be a lot of fanfare, and it just doesn't work that way. <lots of value out there still in advanced stage development projects> I no longer agree with the statement "lots of value" in ADVANCED STAGE PROJECTS. For one thing there aren't too many in that genre. I would challenge this writer to name me 20, or even 15 names that are still in the very undervalued stage. In fact I'd like to see a list from anybody of even twenty true advanced stage projects period? That's the problem the majors face, there aren't very many and two (FGX and Brancote) have just been bought. If one is going to play for big returns going forward, one has to look more in the quality grassroots class and that gets tougher (but more rewarding). Prognosis on advanced stage: there is still some DECENT value and we really haven't gotten frothy yet. The incredible values are largely gone. <On TNX: Gata Bill does a BUY, Russ did a SELL ,o49error has on SHORTs> Let's just say if I had a choice of being in GATA Bill's shoes versus o49error, that's an easy one. This is no time to be short juniors. Still these stampedes by high profile gold bulls into these stocks, are clearly exit points (at least in the intermediate term) IMO.
