References? Because I sure didn't see those numbers in that Sierra Club link.

San Francisco International Airport wants to build a runway extending out into the bay to solve their on-time problem. Their on-time record is the worst in the nation. The reason is the lousy weather, mainly fog. We're not talking a small plane airport here; this is a big multi-billion $ operation; the main air hub for Silicon Valley.

They've been pushing this for years and we're still waiting. Why hasn't it happened? The Sierra Club and its lawyers.

And you think they're going to sit by while BIG, DEEP holes are drilled in the earth? Say what?

Keep in mind that windmill efficiencies and sizes and technologies have been changing dramatically in the last few years. There are 5+ megawatt EACH machines now being developed, in Europe by Vestas and others, because we have an administration that has blinders on, and can only see oil, coal, gas, and nuclear. They were placed there by those who put them in office.
