Ref <<Bottomline, all politicians lie>

Here is a nice joke.

A busload of politicians was taking a bus trip in a remote part of the world. Unfortunately the bus overturned in bad weather, and all the occupants were reported dead. Given the remoteness of the region, and bad weather, it took several weeks before a rescue party arrived at the accident site. The rescue party discovered that the natives had already buried all the occupants of the bus. So the rescuers began the task of digging up the bodies.

As the digging was proceeding, one of the rescuers jokingly asked the local chief, " I hope that before the burials, you verified if all the people were indeed dead". The chief replied, "Well some of the people moaned that they were still alive". But then he shrugged his shoulders. "But you know, we know better. All politicians lie."

GOP disinformation lie. Gore never said he invented the internet. Truthfully deserved full credit for being the first congressman to ever tell the fed government to support the then-non existent "information superhighway". Al deserves full credit. But he will not be the nominee in 2004. Kerry will. Kerry-Edwards. Try to argue with that. Kerry kicks Bush's ass 100 ways to Sunday and back. Edwards kicks felon Cheney's ass 1000 ways.
