Jim, I'll admit that likening Jerry to Osama is going too far. Having said that, I think Jerry is indeed pursuing a jihad. I also think racism against Arab-Americans is a damn shame and very un-American. (At least we're not putting them in camps like we did Japanese-Americans.) Am I a hypocrite? Tenchusatsu

Jim and all, it seems Jerry Sanders almost WANTED to brag about a quid pro quo between him and Microsoft. From Hmaly on the Mod thread: Message 17358263 ... and from the testimony transcript ... microsoft.com It seems Jerry was unusually open about how he needed Microsoft's support for Hammer. The theory is being tossed around on the Mod thread that Jerry wanted to derail a possible collusion effort between Intel and Microsoft. So he purposely "neglects" to read the states' proposals, and he proceeds to use the trial as a forum for exposing the supposed collusion. Personally, I don't see the wisdom behind this move, if Jerry really had such a motive. Didn't he just piss off Bill Gates, thereby hurting Jerry's chances of ever getting Microsoft to support Hammer? Tenchusatsu
