HAHA.. Dai..

You're absolute correctomundo.. Actually, what started out
as a semi-joke between Dave and I was taken into a more
serious context.. I don't have any immediate plans to get in
bed with "the public".. lol..

Rather, I enjoy being my own boss, and the money WILL follow.. I agree with both you and Utha..

Now that aside, I am going to raise some money for a couple
of projects relating directly to the business I am in, but
that's a whole different story.. As you know, the old saying
"it takes money to make money" is true.. So, when you grow
on a shoestring, organically, like I have been, it can slow
your growth unless you're in a business with 50% margins.

My "industry" sees an average of 12-15% margins (not bad either), but if tweaked and worked on, can go as high as
30-40%.. My problem is.. (Not really a problem, rather fits
into my plan of growing 50-100% a year).. I am in a space,
and paying rent on that space, that is 40% unoccupied right
now.. In other words, I have some ballooned fixed expenses
that we will grow into over the next 6 months..

If all I wanted was a dozen employees and a machine that
cranked out a certain income, I'd be set.. We're going to
grow, and we will be in the top 25 of our industry by 2007.
An industry with about 6000 competitors..

I know it's all a matter of perception, and one person may
think x amount of dollars is a lot, while another laughs at
that.. I am very happy doing what I am doing, and new ideas
flow to me weekly..

Thanks for your insight..

This part from your post to scoob says it all. "It requires lots of knowledge from your end". Scoob, we all know about the knowledge that comes "from your end." Rumor has it that someone who went into a "John" (lol) after you ventured out of it was knocked to the floor from the air blast that eminated from the "John"! That's not the kind of funding D-man was talking about, scoob! P.S. If you want to get anywhere on Mars you better take some "French" lessons since those people must live there cause they darn sure don't act like eathlings! JMHO! ;>)))!!!
