The word "murder" is absurd when used re abortions. Using that word is part of the wacky, dishonest misinformation campaign meant as a scare tactic though it has no substance. Anti-abortion "nuts" know this and always try to emphasize late-term abortions which very rarely occur.

Look, you're entitled to your opinion but I think most anti-abortion activists are nutty, sexist and totally irrational. It's not a homicide issue nor a religious issue it's a medical and personal one. So let the pregnant women and the doctors decide.

In fact aborted foetuses are less developed beings than tadpoles. They don't even take on human characteristics until 5-6 months into the pregnancy. That's when the spinal column starts developing, followed by the brain. Logically, that is when any kind of "human life" might be arguably present. You should know this.

If you care so much, the best thing for you to do is respect women and adopt an unwanted kid. Abortion rights are here to stay. So why not worry about the kids who are born whom nobody wants. There are hundreds of millions of them around the world.

If you care for unborn children, it would be more important to save those that are already born, don't you think?

Washington's most recent savageries, which are continuing, are the suffocating sanctions imposed on Iraq. By 1998, malnutrition and disease from lack of medicines and clean water had killed 500,000 children under the age of 5 , according to UNICEF. The total deaths attributable to the sanctions may exceed 1 million. Chalk up 250 World Trade Centers dead from U.S. sanctions.

Former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark reported this year that the number of deaths of children ---- now running at 6,700 a month ---- continues to escalate. That's a World Trade Center full of Iraqi children dead every month from sanctions.

I'm not hedging my statements, just pointing out that the Supreme Court said abortion is murder in the third trimester but in the first or second trimester it's ok to throw the unborn child in the garbage can.

I'll stop with some pictures; life begins at conception.
No one can scientifically argue that an unborn child, at any stage of development, is not human.

w-cpc.org;

Steve, the fetus looks anything but human though most of the first trimester. Its incapable of movement its so undeveloped. What organs exist must migrate to their proper position. Its looks more like a guppy.

Check out the link......it gives all the stages of embryonic development thru all three trimesters......its fascinating.

Unfortunately the SC didn't even say that. They said states can regulate third trimester abortions but they didn't say that abortion was murder at any point in a pregnancy. Also latter decisions have basically not allowed states to ban even late term abortions.
