This brings us back to the long and frustrating effort of Neocon

Our leader who is supposed to speak for us and set policy (wiping my eyes...sob...)

"In the sexual arena where we first started a few days ago, we find ourselves unable to introduce any example of utterly depraved behavior that will not be defended under the mantra of "in the privacy of their own homes"

What is this?! WE MUST be allowed into their DEPRAVED PRIVATE homes!,g> :-)

Mr. D. was right. His wonderful forbearance at out porch lights was so remarkable. But he just needs more time..."don't you, Sweety!"

That must have been the time when the blacks were sitting in the back of the bus. I suspect there has never been a time when everyone thought the same way- although there are certainly times when majorities of people believe that is true, and act on that belief coercively, but people can believe all sorts of things, as history clearly shows us. I prefer to live in times when people believe everyone is not thinking the same thing, and so give people a space to think there own thoughts, and be what they are. It's just a preference of mine.

I'd always thought the notion that people have the right to do as they will, unless they are compromising the rights of others, stood near the top of the list of values in that shared value system.

If you claim the right to make judgments about the private lives of others, you must of course acknowledge the right of others to make judgments about yours....
