I think this is a once in a lifetime shorting opportunity in many of the big caps. Fortunately the confusion is being generated to give everyone plenty of time to take care of business before the bottom falls out.

Wall Street has trained everyone to focus on the short term day to day action but if you step back and look at the MONTHLY charts on stuff like AIG, FNM, PFE, HD, C, WMT, GE, MER etc. etc. its very easy to see that we are in a massive topping process. Massive tops meaning shorts in some of these stocks will be "short and hold" opportunities for years.

The best long term investments going forward will be shorts in these big cap "safe" stocks and I am hoping that the market doesnt tank at the open on Monday so I can take positions in the stocks I haven't already shorted. Gold and silver should be good on the long side for at least 4 more years.
