I have no trouble believing that. My husband has at least 60 guys all named Ramerez working for him, they all send money back home. (I think they are all using the same green card)

Not only that, we send an amount equivalent to the nominal defense budget for the former Soviet Union to South and Central America for illegal drugs. (ever wonder where all that currency goes?) One of the things that has become apparent in watching the Fed injections, is that it is pumping up other economies more than it is pumping ours. Look at the growth rate and inflation rate in China.

Where did you find the stats on foreign assets in banks and does this apply over all bank assets or just saving accounts and CDs? Anyone know what is the dollar amount of US assets held in foreign banks off shore?
