Knaze, the PR refers to it, so you may want to read it again, but it basically means that they have 30 days to get the audited financials done and filed. I spoke to the CEO (and others may want to as well to get reassurance). He said he expects them to be finished by the end of the next week. At that time the "e" will be removed.

Note: the following link will be placed at the bottom of each future post I make regarding HQNT.

"what's the e all about dave"

knaze, dave's answer to your question above is correct, as far as it goes. however, it does not actually say what the e is "all about". some of the rest of what the e is all about was provided by StkProfit$ in post #5973--to wit:

"Two years ago the SEC began requiring OTC's to file audited financials (where previously Tom, Dick, and Harry Inc could have an OTC stock with nothing behind it and with no one checking up on them.)

Once the OTC filing system was in place, an "E" was affixed to any OTC that did not have its financial report duly recorded with the SEC on time. (Note: after a period of time a non-reporting OTC will go to the pick sheets until they file a properly audited form in order to gain compliance.)"

thus, what the 'e' signifies, if i understand it correctly, is the failure of hqnt's mangement to duly report its financials to the sec in a timely fashion. so far we have been given no explanation for such a delay, only assurances that it will be set aright. it appears hqnt has somewhat chronically been guilty of such delays. this may indeed be trivial or it may be meaningful. if it is trivial, i would expect it to be in management's best interest to provide a fuller explanation so that such delays will not continue to raise embarrassing questions. if it is meaningful, we as investors must prudently maintain reasonable doubts about the degree to which hqnt is acting openly and responsibly on our behalf. all imho, of course.
