Steve, you are out of your mind, I believe most Israeli would not be able to live with themselves if forced to use the nuclear option. Spreading such thoughts is very dangerous, and furthermore, not even strategically viable.

There is a concept taught to every Israeli soldier in the IDF, it is "the purity of arms", it is a deeply engrained concept and a result of the moral backbone of Israeli society, since the whole Israeli society is in essence the IDF. That concept, taught very early in the military indoctrination process, and continuously thereafter, and repeated before every battle: "Thou shall keep your arms pure and unstained with the blood of innocent civilians". Thirteen middle aged reservists gave their lives on that principle, when not blowing down a house in Jennin that was boobie trapped, and the trap was activated by a Palestinian youth (now counted as a "civilian casualty", of course). If you remember the old "Hebrew National" ad campaign, "they answer to a "Higher Authority". (ng)

That's not a practical solution, although I understand the suggestion.

Heck, they'd be dropping nukes within a mile of their cities. I'd say that around 80% if the Palestinian population fits your description of either being a terrorist or harboring terrorists.

IMO,
