foreign deposits, cash-out financing, and other debt financing. you can raise lots of cash through equity offerings and debt offerings. didn't the telecoms raise $ 1 T in debt since 1996 alone?

You can't take something like that and spread it out over all households. Need less to say, some households have multitudes more then others. If you've ever looked at the percentage of people who pay most of the income tax you'd notice that 80%-90% of all income tax paid is paid by something like the top 3-5% income earners. There's a huge range in household wealth with the majority of households down in an extremely wide base.

That's 'savings deposits' just accounting.... savings rate is zero to negative according to the government. That could simply be rich people holding lots of cash.
