I am quoting a legit source, one amongst many, if you do your own homework and search. I'm not bullshitting anyone. Do a search on "Bush energy big oil tax" or something and you'll find many facts from many sources. U pick 'em. Why do you have a hard time believing this? party loyalty? Well Big Oil just hijacked your party. So maybe you ought to be concerned. if it weren't for jeffords we'd still be paying $4 a gallon and hearing cheney talk about 1700 new power plants needed immediately, none of them using clean fuels. Bush-Cheney came out after the election trying to give away everything in the world to Big Energy. The entire "energy crisis shortage" was all a big price-fixing hoax in order to help Bush and give his cronies tens of billions plus dismantle all environmental rules and plunder, plunder, plunder. If you don't think they're liars, I have one word for you "Enron". They're crooks. Bush and Enron were joined at the hip, like mother and child. Wake up please. If it wasn't for 9/11 this would be the biggest news of the year. It will be after the war on terrorism dies down, which it's doing right now. Stay tuned. Oh wait, we have to wait for after the Robert Blake trial. Believe me though, there are four major investigations/lawsuits into the Bush-Cheney energy scandals going on now. Their findings will be most interesting. And why the hell do you think Cheney won't release his energy papers? because the shredding machine got stuck? He's guilty as sin and everyone in the White House knows it. That's why they no longer use the words 'Enron" or "oil" and hope to keep this war on terrorism going for years, until after the 2004 election, if they can. But where's the enemy now? Saddam? Our allies will not support an attack against Saddam. So Bush is screwed. And even if he did attack Saddam what would stop him from suffering the same fate as his father? One thing, US voter naivete and the disinformation campaig Bush's people are putting out there. I for one want the truth out. Bush-Enron-Cheney polluted democracy, tried a frontal war on the environment, stole 30 billion from California alone and are completely morally bankrupt. They may represent certain interests and seem like patriotic people but tehy have clearly committed crimes and should be investigated. And if you don't think they're guilty then that one word again "Enron". Bush lived by Enron and now he'll die by Enron, politically I mean. I don't hate Bush and respect the power, money and political expertise of his team and cronies, but as a man, loobyist for Big Oil, leader and symbol, America deserves much better.
