I just moved to Midwest and find many people here fully supporting Israel. The local news just reported a death toll of 11 since the fighting stopped in Jenin as a result of land mines and exploding doors (booby traps) meant for the Israelis. I am really finding the support here for the Palestinians hard to believe. Even if we gave them all they wanted, if OBL managed to nuke Manhattan I suspect the Palestinians would again be cheering from their new state to support Arab power against the USA. It seems either we have Jew haters or pacifists hoping to avoid confrontation with the Islamic radicals. If Israel falls it will only make the West's future confrontations with Islam much more costly.
