Was it the goal of Israel for Arabs and Jews to co-exist in WBGS or would the Palestinians just have pockets like Hebron, Ramallah, Nablus, Jenin, and Jericho?

The PLO can't or won't compromise because too many of their people will not stop until every Jew is dead. They feel too strongly that Israel must die. Sojourner the arabs established more settlements on the disputed lands than the Israelis. Further the whole issue of who settled before who is meaningless if both people intend to live in peace. It makes a heck of difference if you intend to be constantly at war. Just as simple. The major problems are not settlements but the fertility rate of the arabs at 4 times European / US average and close to it water
