Thank goodness for CNBC ! That's the only way I can keep track of the "Wall St. party line propaganda du jour". In December, they must have mentioned "The January Effect" a gazzilion times" -- which was a signal to me that there wouldn't be one -- that the selling would start in early January.

Cluesless as ever ...CNBC.

But they worry too , like everyone else that oil prices don't skyrocket , so that gas will stay cheap and the economy can rebound so that we can all drive down to the grocery store and Quicky Marts in our 2 1/2 ton 4X4's ,
to pick up some instant soup and vienna sausages.
