No inside information. In fact I have no idea whether or not the displays in question are cheaper or not and that's not the point I was attempting to convey. Rather, it appears that Nokia has dropped tha ball with respect to Quality Inspection and Assurance practices. Often when companies start feeling sales and margin pressures they will "cut corners" which ultimately comes back to bite them in the ass. It's a matter of corporate culture and often means that a company is letting schedules and budgets dictate their actions.

Sounds like your service buddies are in for a long hot summer ;-)
