Bush-Enron partnership and symbiosis created each others massive political and financial clout. They didn't literally create each other (duh) they teamed up to dominate the energy business, the GOP and were on the very of winning over our entire system before Jeffords switched parties and the phony energy crisis was exposed.

Enron not only gave Bush 2.5 million, they did all manner of power-favors for him, and those favors were returned.
A few examples, letting Bush his the company jet constantly. Enron hiring Christian Conservative Ralph Reed at $20,000 a month to do absolutely nothing for the energy company, but work instead for the Bush campaign. Enron was also the cheer-leader in getting all the fat cats in energy to pony up for GW. They were his chief fund-raisers and saw it as a great investment because Bush-Cheney were to protect them as they looted the world. Before Bush even began running he already had 100 million mainly in energy money, so McCain never had a chance. Much of those funds were raised by Enron. Enron was an unofficial Bush campaign office and itw as understood that if you worked for Enron you worked for Bush. And vice versa.

The first thing Bush did when he was made presidient was to hire Enron execs, bring Enron in to secretly formulate policy with Cheney, and continue to raise oodles more more soft money. Along with Enron, James Baker and others played major roles in this, all working in unison to consolidate power (especially over the GOP itself) deceive Americans, gouge us unmercifully, create artificial energy shortages, blame the democrats for it, fund disinformation ads covering up their deeds and trying to dismantle environmental protection on every front.

It wasn't until the arsenic issue that Bush gave pause, but his agenda cannot be mistaken. It is hand-in-hand with the Enron agenda. Their visions were one and the same.
