everybody knows about the pump and dumps in otc penny stocks....thats why most folks avoid them....most folks "think" that stuff doesn't happen on the big stocks...right! WRONG.

nice post

Jeff, one problem is that big stocks are where much of the old timer's money still sits. I think they find it nearly impossible to consider the idea that the biggest name company stocks won't come back. Time they believe, is on their side.

Sell now, at these low levels? Perish the thought.

Unfortunately, unless there is a helluvan upswing in the world economy, the big names are going to grind down, taking along with them the optimism that has kept the market from crashing.

Good luck

Jeff, good post. I'm more and more of the opinion that the run to NDX 1425 and COMP 1832 is the high on this run, and it was an option expiration related blip in an overall downtrend, similar to February. We got turned away at the downtrend line and closed below the uptrend line. That's a good indication of weakness.

We'll see. I'm getting some QQQ June 34 puts tomorrow and I'll just sit tight and watch how this unfolds. I need longer time-frames because I don't have the time to devote to the shorter ones right now.
