QCOM at upper barrier of downchannel now

good luck to you
I find a near total lack of historical perspective these days
tech, tech, tech !!!

just what will fuel this so-called recovery, in your view?
no improvement to balance sheets in any arena
valuations of S&P now are higher than previous S&P peak in 1980's
housing market is in no position to lead a recovery
automobile market is giving cars away, interest-free
interest rates are soon to rise
USdollar is beginning a long downtrend
the US economy will be importing inflation later this year
and all next year
which represents a phenomenon not seen in almost a decade
the economy and investment community is nowhere prepared for it

in 1999 we all were blind to the big picture
I saw some warning signals in macro-economic scene
but ignored them
not listening to kooks like Voltaire either

we are in midst of 70-yr structural cycle
1770's were rum - molasses - slavery trade
1850's were railroads
1920's were automobiles
2000's are telecom and computerdom

no precedent of an economic recovery after a stock market repudiation of several Federal Reserve rate cuts
that is exactly what we saw in 2001
Naz decline to 800 upcoming
/ Jim

I don't know, I don't know.

Seems to me that forward guidance on the 24th will be the key. Given the absolute lack of good news in the sector, seems possible that guidance will not be stellar. On the other hand 1x is doing well, we should see some 1x going forward in the US this year, KDDI seems to be doing well, and the Koreans are not standing still.

Guidance will probably be so-so.
