Andreas, Re:"So let's summarize: Overall CPU unit sales were flat. Overall ASPs were up. Without Xbox CPU unit sales were down. ASPs for Xbox CPUs are probably fixed. That means: Xbox sales were up and Non-Xbox ASPs were also up. That's not too surprising since P4 ASPs got a solid lift in early Q1 with the introduction of the 2.2 GHz Northwood.

What can we expect this quarter? Since Xbox sales are very slow in Europe and Japan and demand has cooled down somewhat in the US we can expect Xbox unit sales to be flat at best (probably down). That will help overall ASPs but will probably also mean that overall units will be down. That's of course assuming a seasonal Q2."

Nice analysis. You picked up on a few things that I missed, apparently. Also, Q2 shipments are usually strongly down compared to Q1. It's very backend weighted, with back-to-school inventory building in June being the primary month of sales.
